Thomas Read Pub. The G-men begin their quest for the weekend with the barmaid. Little do they notice the 'men in black' in the foreground wiping their memory of it. Forever.
The drinking of the Irish - at 45 degrees. We finally meet Darren, and his lass.Following the Thomas Read pub, we move onto the top 'night-club' of the region -Whelans- to hear Judge Jules mixing classics of the 80's classics such as EMF, Stone Roses and Vanessa Paradis. We met up with Paddy here. According to Tim, he's had a 'great night' (Pictures later). Others note the remarkable similarity to a school disco. Top marks of the night go to anyone who queued behind the bloke at the bar for 10 minutes before realising that he was made of stone.
The ticket for the 'venue'.After coming back from the club Alan Barnard realises that he has placed all his clothes in one of the hotel rooms for safe-keeping. However the bouncers on the hotel door don't let anybody past without a hotel key after midnight. Alan tries in vain to convince them to let him in, or to call the room (at 2am he don't have much hope of this really). Finally (I sense the Guinness influence here), he decides to scale the hotel railings (7ft high with spikes on top) and finds once he gets to the other side that his 50-quid brand-new jeans have taken on a Bros-style ripped look and are now covered in burgular grease. 'Never mind - at least I get my gear' he thinks. Try again. He knocks on the window and gets no response.
Alan, just for you - here's what you needed on the night.
